For as long as I can remember, my life has been shaped by the soil, the seasons, and the joy of watching things grow. Some of my earliest and fondest childhood memories are of working alongside my family in our garden. Together, we tended to vegetables, herbs, and fruit trees, learning firsthand how to care for the earth. My parents didn’t just teach us how to plant; they taught us the true value and worth of every single living thing we grew.

While the vegetable patch fed our bodies, it was my mother’s vibrant flower garden that captured my heart. I was constantly by her side—digging new flower beds, dreaming up layouts, and deciding which blooms would look best together. That shared passion truly blossomed when we entered our local garden competitions. I’m proud to say we took home the top prize most of the time! More than the trophies, though, I fell in love with the art of transforming an outdoor space into something spectacular.
